What is Riverbank?

Riverbank will be a landmark building with state of the art facilities for performing and visual arts and film.

The structure will be predominantely built in oak, with vertical and horizontal boarding and a louvered "brise soleil" at high level on the principal elevation.

The spacious, two storey high foyer will have views across to the River Kennet and the Watermeadows. This will house the coffee shop and bar, as well as the box office.  The design team was led by architects, Ruddle Wilkinson,  which owns the copyright of all designs and plans of the development.

Full planning permission was granted in September 2005.
